Information we collect
- Account information, including your email address and authentication identifiers.
- Profile information you provide, such as display name, skill level, city, availability, game preferences, and travel radius.
- Content and activity, including games, RSVPs, groups, messages, connections, private player ratings, blocks, and safety reports.
- Approximate or precise device location only when you grant permission and request nearby courts. PaddlePing does not sell location data.
- Basic technical information needed for security, diagnostics, and reliable operation.
How we use information
We use information to operate the app, show nearby courts and relevant games, connect players, show match-time weather, prevent abuse, investigate reports, and improve reliability. Private rating answers are not displayed as public reviews.
Service providers, maps, and weather
PaddlePing uses Supabase for authentication and database services, Apple platform services, Expo application infrastructure, OpenStreetMap-based services for court and place lookup, and Open-Meteo for weather forecasts based on a court's coordinates and match time. These providers process information under their own terms and policies.
Sharing
Profile details, games, group information, and messages are shared with signed-in members as needed for the feature you use. Reports, blocks, and individual rating answers remain private except when disclosure is required for safety, legal compliance, or service operation. We do not sell personal information.
Retention and deletion
We keep information while your account is active and as reasonably needed for safety and legal obligations. You can permanently delete your account inside PaddlePing under Profile → Delete account. Deletion removes your account and associated content, subject to limited records we may be legally required to retain.
Your choices
You can edit profile and preference data, disable location or notification permission in iOS Settings, block players, file a report, or delete your account.
Children
PaddlePing is not directed to children under 13. Do not use the service if you are under 13.
